The Community Life Center provides the perfect backdrop for any special occasion.

We love to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, graduations as well as civic events. Our facility features numerous chandeliers, imported Italian marble flooring, and a serene fountain that provides a stunning environment your guests are likely never to forget. Let us help you create a memorable special event.


The Buchanan Ballroom with its tall windows, wood columns, vaulted ceiling and numerous crystal chandeliers provides a wonderful canvas for you to create the look and feel you want for your reception. The Buchanan Ballroom can accommodate up to 300 guests (with dance floor) and up to 320 guests (when tables are placed on top of the dance floor). It is fitted with state of the art audio/visual equipment. Each event is custom designed to fit your needs and idea of the perfect day.


The Rotunda may be utilized for cocktail hour and can also be utilized to house any auxiliary tables (registration table, buffet, bar, memorabilia) needed for your event.


Need a space for a surprise grand entrance or need extra space for photos? Weather-permitting, our open-air courtyard provides a scenic backdrop. The Courtyard is surrounded by seasonal flowers and is also graced by the Crystal Tower, which is astonishing with its 40,000 crystal chandelier, winding staircase and ground-to-ceiling window panes.

Bridal Suite and Grooms Retreat

The Bridal Suite and Grooms Retreat offers you and your party the perfect place to get ready for your special event.  The Bridal Suite features five (5) separate stations and is complete with wall-to-wall mirrors, garment racks as well as a steamer.

  • Projector/screen. (2) wireless microphones and (2) lapel microphones (available in the Buchanan Ballroom)

  • Events may begin after 5:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday), after 4:30 p.m. (Saturday) and after 2:00pm (Sunday)
  • All events must end no later than midnight. Cleanup of the facility must be completed by 1 a.m.

Special Event Pricing

All rates are subject to change. Please call Event Manager Tara McDaniel or Assistant Event Manager Kelsey Brungard at 317-396-3726 to confirm current rental rates.

The Community Life Center may be rented for special events Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Special Event rentals require a 4 hour minimum time frame. Rental rates include 1 hour prior for setup and 1 hour after for teardown.
